On the HBO series True Blood, she played the role of Daphne. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Her first job was in teaching Reading in the Kindergarten class and also the 1st Grade at Maury County. Brent Jones was her UT Martin crush. The couple moved to Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught fourth grade. In 1999-2000, she taught and completed her masters in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She quit the classroom in 2000 when the couple welcomed their baby boy Baylor. Ashley's focus over the last 15 years is encouraging children to grow within her church as well as the community at large. Additionally, she has served in various capacities. Ashley has been a leader within the Preschool and Student Ministry at Thompson Station Church for over 13 years. Ashley taught her children at home during the time she was home. Ashley, who taught History for kindergarten and 1st grade at home was also a participant in this course. She loved staying at home with her kids and she loved to teach the children. But, God made it clear that the time had come for their family to return full-time. Brent and Ashley each have five children. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all at GCA. Baylor a GCA graduate attends and plays baseball at UT Martin. Callan also a GCA graduate, is enrolled at Western Kentucky University.
